Household Waste and Recycling Centres

There are four Household Waste and Recycling Centres in the city where you can deposit a wide variety of materials for recycling. See the table below for locations and further information about the collection facilities available at each site.

Recycling Centre opening hours:

Summer (British Summer Time)

• Monday to Friday (including Public Holidays) 10am to 7.45pm
• Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7.45pm

Winter

• Monday to Friday (including Public Holidays) 10am to 4.45pm
• Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4.45pm

Please note that the centres are closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day
